THERE IS HOPE
Nat 5 Indices
Indices are the powers of a number or variable.
The index of a number or variable represents how many times it has multiplied by itself.
Terms with indices have the form ax^n, where a is the coefficient, x is the base and n is the power or index.
We use several indices laws to simplify expressions with terms containing indices.
This module covers:
- Laws of Indices
- Simplifying using index laws
In this module I will teach you how to answer the following types of questions:
Question 1

Question 2

Question 3

This module was two 1-hour classes. Once you have watched the videos, you will...
- Finally understand Nat 5 Indices
- Be able to identify Indices questions in the exam
- Have all the tools necessary to retain this knowledge.
All you need is the commitment to put the work in and we'll help with the rest.
What's Included In The Course...
We covered this module over two 1-hour lessons. By the end of the videos, you will be able to identify these questions in Past Papers and understand the process and be able to answer questions on Indices.
This module covered Indices over two lessons.

"Alan knows exactly how to explain concepts in very simple ways. He doesn't go on about theory. He gets straight to the point: "This is what you need to know, this is what is looks like and this is the process". He makes it seem very simple and clear."
- Craig

"I wouldn't have received an 'A' in Higher Maths without your help. The structure of the course helped me, but the support on offer is where this course really excels"
- Rebekah

"My daughter was always terrible with Maths. This way of learning worked wonderfully for her. She was far more likely to ask questions as she wasn't in a physical class or on camera and she could focus on the learning. The follow up work was exceptional as well. She's now going on to take Higher as she realises she's more than capable."
